Hello, it's Anna! 🌿
The weather’s getting colder—are you enjoying your beauty routine these days?
Let me ask you something.Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought,“Hmm… my face looks a little tired lately”?
Maybe you noticed a lack of firmness or a dull complexion. But here's a little secret:The real cause might not be your face—it could be your ears. 👂✨
Your ears are closely connected to blood flow, lymph circulation, and facial muscles. They’re surprisingly delicate and hardworking parts of your body.
By simply giving your ears a gentle massage, you can bring back that natural glow, restore firmness, and even feel a little lift in your facial contour. 💫
Today, I’ll share 5 simple ear massage steps I personally practice—steps that I’ve found especially effective in my daily routine.
Each step takes just 1–3 minutes and doesn’t require any tools.
This small ritual can boost your skin tone, reduce puffiness, and help firm up your facial lines.
It’s truly a magical beauty habit that starts with your ears. 🫶
Perfect before your morning skincare, or as part of your nighttime wind-down.
Try adding it to your daily routine and see how your skin responds. 🌙
So, shall we begin?
Let’s start with Step 1: Warming the Ears. ☕️
Step 1: Warm Up Your Ears

This step may seem simple, but it’s an important first move in your beauty routine.
Warm your hands and gently place them over your ears, as if to softly wrap them.
As you take slow, deep breaths, begin to make gentle circular motions, moving your ears slightly backward.
Just this small action helps to stimulate blood flow around the ears, creating a sense of lightness and softness throughout your entire face.
Step 2:Loosen and Relax the Ears
After warming the ears, let’s move on to the loosening step. 👂✨
Here, you’ll gently relax the entire ear—starting from the earlobes and moving upward—using your fingers.
By combining the movements with deep, mindful breathing, you’ll enhance the relaxation effect and feel the tension in your face melt away. 🌿
① Pull the earlobes in sync with your breath

・Gently pinch both earlobes with your fingertips.
・Take a slow breath in… and as you exhale, gently pull them diagonally downward.
・As you continue to breathe, gradually move your fingers upward along the ears.
・Inhale → pinch → exhale and pull... follow this rhythm to stimulate the entire ear. ✨
💡 Tip: Don’t force the movement—think of it as softly stretching the ear with a light touch.
② Gently release tension from the top of the ear down

・Next, gently pinch the upper part of the ear with both fingers—this area tends to hold more tension.
・As you feel any stiffness or knots, softly massage and loosen them with your fingertips.
・Slowly work your way down from the top to the bottom of the ear.
💡 Tip: If you notice a tender or tense spot, take a deep breath and gently release it with your exhale.
Let your fingertips share their warmth—it helps improve circulation even more. 💫
Step 3: Rotate the Ears

In this step, you’ll gently rotate your ears backward to help release heaviness and sagging in the face. ✨
Around the ears are muscles and lymph nodes that support lifting and tightening.
By slowly rotating the ears, you can also reduce puffiness and relieve signs of fatigue. 🌿
Gently cup your ears and slowly rotate them backward.
・Place your thumbs behind your ears and use your fingers to gently cup the front.
・Take a deep breath in… and as you exhale, slowly rotate your ears backward in a large, gentle motion.
・Rather than making small movements, imagine lifting the entire ear as you draw a wide circle. ✨
・Continue rotating slowly for about one minute.
💡 Tip: Don’t force it—think of it as gently lifting upward with a soft, floating motion.
Try to feel not just your ears, but your jawline, cheeks, and temples being softly lifted as well.
Step 4:Loosen Around the Ears
Next, we’ll focus on caring for the area around the ears. ✨
This area contains lymph nodes and tends to collect waste and fluid buildup.
By adding this step, you can noticeably tighten puffiness, sagging along the jawline, and that tired look in your face. 🌿
① Gently Release the Lymph in Front of the Ear

・Using your index finger, gently touch the small hollow just in front of your ear canal—this is where the lymph nodes are located.
・With light pressure, move your finger in small, circular motions around that area.
・Do this slowly for about 30 seconds, staying mindful of your breath.
・Releasing this point helps encourage lymphatic flow and can even brighten your complexion. ✨
💡 Tip: Move your finger in gentle, circular strokes—don’t press too hard.
Think of it as a light, soothing touch to gently loosen the area.
② Gently Drain Around the Ears

・Next, use your index and middle fingers to gently massage around the ear.
・Start near the temples, then move slowly from the front of the ear, to behind it, and finally down along the neck.
・Be careful not to rub the skin—apply gentle pressure along the bone instead.
💡 Tip: Instead of moving the skin, focus on guiding your fingers along the bone beneath—it should feel like you’re working from within.
③ Focus on the Lymph Nodes Below the Ears (Parotid Glands)

・Finally, your fingers will reach the area just below the ears—this is where the parotid lymph nodes are located.
・This spot tends to accumulate waste and is prone to puffiness.
・Use your fingertips to gently massage the area in small, circular motions.
💡 Tip: Giving this area a little extra care can help you feel your jawline become noticeably more defined and refreshed!
Step 5: Gently Press the Ears (Final Reset Care)

The final step of this ear massage is a gentle, calming practice. 🌙
Here, we focus on balancing the nervous system—shifting into the parasympathetic state—making it the perfect care to end your day.
Gently hold your ear using a peace sign with your fingers.
・Make a peace sign with your fingers, and gently hold your ear between your index and middle fingers.
・Take a deep breath in… and as you exhale, slowly move the ear in small circular motions.
・Avoid twisting too hard—think of it as drawing soft, gentle circles.
・Continue for about one minute, moving with your breath.
💡 Tip: The more shallow your breathing feels, the more important it is to slow down and deepen it.
As you breathe, gently sway your ears in rhythm—your whole body will begin to soften and relax. ✨
Beauty flows from the ears outward.
Firmness, glow, lift... Are you relying too much on skincare and makeup to achieve these?
The truth is, the foundation of beauty can be much simpler.
